Sometimes effective action is quick and easy.

Two phone calls, each two minutes long to help protect Ontario's water.

Step 1. Give the Premier's office a call:

(It will be a staffer that answers.)

Tell them why you are calling.

For example, you're concerned about Bill 66, that you want schedule 10, which provides for the "Open-for-business planning by-laws", removed.

If you'd like a list of facts to use, click here.

Tell them why this is important to you.

For instance, you want to ensure water quality is protected, or you want to ensure local agriculture is supported.

If you've signed up for our "Note to Self" feature, tell them about it and that it will help inform your vote come Election Day. (If you haven't and want to know what it's all about, it's here.)

Finally, be kind. These folks probably have to deal with more than their fair share of angry people. Let's keep our advocacy positive.

Step 2. Then, if you're feeling ambitious, give our MPPs a call:

Jill Dunlop (Simcoe North)

Andrea Khanjin (Barrie-Innisfil)

Doug Downey (Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte)

Caroline Mulroney (York-Simcoe)

Jim Wilson (Simcoe-Grey)

And that's it!

If you're looking for extra inspiration, and haven't already seen it, check out Margaret giving the Premier's office a call.

And we have Sandy making the call, too!
